The host is installed with Pidgin and is prone to denial of service vulnerability. A flaw is present in the msn_emoticon_msg function in slp.c in the MSN protocol plugin in libpurple, which fails to handle a custom emoticon in a malformed SLP message. Successful exploitation could allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code and cause a denial of service.
