The host is installed with Artifex Ghostscript before 10.02.0 and is prone to a buffer overflow vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly handle the base/gdevdevn.c:1973 in devn_pcx_write_rle() function. Successful exploitation allows attackers to cause a denial of service via outputting a crafted PDF file for a DEVN device with gs.
