The host is installed with WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment 9.x through 9.0.0.9, 8.5.x through 8.5.5.14, 8.0.x through 8.0.0.15 or 7.0.x through 7.0.0.45 and is prone to a directory traversal vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to handle an issue in the Admin Console for WebSphere Application Server. Successful exploitation allow a remote attacker to send a specially-crafted URL request containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) to view arbitrary files on the system.
