The host is installed with Wireshark 1.4.x before 1.4.15 or 1.6.x before 1.6.10 or 1.8.x before 1.8.2 and is prone to buffer overflow vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to handle the epan/dissectors/packet-rtps2.c in the RTPS2 dissector. Successful exploitation allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption).
