Information disclosure vulnerability in Google Chrome via a crafted web site - CVE-2015-3334ID: oval:org.secpod.oval:def:26809 | Date: (C)2015-09-24 (M)2024-01-29 |
Class: VULNERABILITY | Family: windows |
The host is installed with Google Chrome before 42.0.2311.90 and is prone to an information disclosure vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which does not always display "Media: Allowed by you" in a Permissions table after the user has granted camera permission to a web site. Successful exploitation could allow user-assisted remote attackers to obtain sensitive video data from a device's physical environment via a crafted web site that turns on the camera at a time when the user believes that camera access is prohibited.
