Use-after-free vulnerability in the resolver in nginx 0.6.18 through 1.8.0 and 1.9.x before 1.9.10 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (worker process crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted DNS response related to CNAME response processing. CVE-2014-3616 nginx 0.5.6 through 1.7.4, when using the same shared ssl_session_cache or ssl_session_ticket_key for multiple servers, can reuse a cached SSL session for an unrelated context, which allows remote attackers with certain privileges to conduct "virtual host confusion" attacks.
