The host is installed with Apple Mac OS 12 before 12.7.3, Apple Mac OS 13 before 13.6.4, or Apple Mac OS 14 before 14.2 and is prone to a heap based buffer overflow vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly handle multiple issues in curl. On successful exploitation, a malicious server can stream an endless series of headers and eventually cause curl to run out of heap memory.
