The host is installed with Dell EMC OpenManage Server Administrator is before 9.3.0.2 or 9.4.x before 9.4.0.2 and is prone to a path traversal vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly handle the limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory. Successful exploitation could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to potentially exploit these vulnerabilities by sending a crafted Web API request containing directory traversal character sequences to gain file system access on the compromised management station.
