The host is installed with OpenSSL 1.0.2 through 1.0.2s or 1.1.1 through 1.1.1c or 1.1.0 through 1.1.0k and is prone to an improper certificate validation vulnerability. A flaw is present in the directory tree where it can find a configuration file as well as certificates used for verification in TLS. Successful exploitation could allow attackers to modify OpenSSL's default configuration, insert CA certificates, modify (or even replace) existing engine modules.
