The host is installed with WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment 9.x through 9.0.0.9, 8.5.x through 8.5.5.14, or 8.0.x through 8.0.0.15 and is prone to a directory traversal vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to handle an issue when an Enterprise Bundle Archive (EBA) is installed into the Application Server that has a path external to the EBA. Successful exploitation allows attackers to traverse directories on the system and write to arbitrary files on the system.
