The host is installed with Unreal Engine 1.0.0, 2.0.0, or 2.5.0 and is prone to a buffer overflow vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to handle the UGameEngine::UpdateConnectingMessage function in the Unreal engine. Successful exploitation allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long LEVEL field in a WELCOME response to a download request.
