The host is installed with GlobalProtect Agent 5.0.x, 5.1.x before 5.1.9 or 5.2.x before 5.2.8 and is prone to a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly handle an issue in system processes. Successful exploitation allows a man-in-the-middle attacker to disrupt system processes and potentially execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges.
