The host is installed with LibreOffice 7.0.x before 7.0.5 or 7.1.x before 7.1.2 and is prone to a security bypass vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly handle denylist of executable filename extensions. Successful exploitation allows attackers to manipulate the hyperlink so it doesn't match the denylist but results in ShellExecute attempting to launch an executable type.
