The host is installed with VideoLAN VLC media player 3.0.0 before 3.0.9 and is prone to a denial of service vulnerability. A flaw is present in the libmicrodns, which fails to properly handle the parsing of mDNS messages. Successful exploitation cause an out-of-bounds read that would result in a denial of service.
