The host is installed with wibu codeMeter runtime kit prior to 6.81 and is prone to an improper verification of cryptographic signature vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly handle an issue in license-file signature checking mechanism. Successful exploitation could allow attackers to build arbitrary license files, including forging a valid license file as if it were a valid license file of an existing vendor.
