Memory corruption vulnerability in Mozilla Firefox, Firefox ESR and Thunderbird - CVE-2020-15659ID: oval:org.secpod.oval:def:64719 | Date: (C)2020-07-29 (M)2024-03-27 |
Class: VULNERABILITY | Family: windows |
Mozilla Firefox 79, Mozilla Firefox ESR 78.1 and Mozilla Thunderbird 78.1: Mozilla developers and community members Natalia Csoregi, Simon Giesecke, Jason Kratzer, Christian Holler, and Luke Wagner reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 78 and Firefox ESR 78.0. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code.
