The host is installed with WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment 9.x through 9.0.5.1 or 8.5.x through 8.5.5.16 and is prone to a path traversal vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to handle a specially-crafted URL request to view arbitrary files on the system but not content. Successful exploitation could allow remote attackers to to traverse directories on the file system.
