RHSA-2019:1860-01 -- Redhat rh-redis32-redis

ID: oval:org.secpod.oval:def:504884Date: (C)2021-01-29   (M)2022-10-10
Class: PATCHFamily: unix

Redis is an advanced key-value store. It is often referred to as a data-structure server since keys can contain strings, hashes, lists, sets, and sorted sets. For performance, Redis works with an in-memory data set. You can persist it either by dumping the data set to disk every once in a while, or by appending each command to a log. Security Fix: * redis: Heap buffer overflow in HyperLogLog triggered by malicious client * redis: Heap corruption in lua_cmsgpack.c * redis: Integer overflow in lua_struct.c:b_unpack * redis: Code execution in redis-cli via crafted command line arguments For more details about the security issue, including the impact, a CVSS score, acknowledgments, and other related information, refer to the CVE page listed in the References section.
