The host is installed with VeraCrypt before 1.23-Hotfix-1 (Update 1) and is prone to a buffer overflow vulnerability. A flaw is present in the application, which fails to properly handle an issue in Veracrypt NT Driver (veracrypt.sys). Successful exploitation allows attackers to execute code locally or can send IOCTL request to driver.
