The host is installed with Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2 is prone to Hyper-V buffer overflow vulnerability. A flaw is present in the Hyper-V in Windows, which fails to handle packet size memory initialization in guest virtual machines. Successful exploitation could allow attackers to do remote code execution on the host machine.
