The host is installed with Apple Remote Desktop Client before 3.7 and is prone to an information disclosure vulnerability. The flaw is present in the application, which does not properly use server authentication-type information during decisions about whether to present an unencrypted-connection warning message. Successful exploitation allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information in opportunistic circumstances by sniffing the network during an unintended cleartext VNC session.
